What we collect
Account information (email, password handled by our authentication provider — we never see or store your raw password), your saved searches and watchlist, and the messages you send to the AI chat feature. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe collects your payment details directly; we only ever see your subscription status and a Stripe-assigned customer ID, never your card number.
Third-party services we use
Supabase (authentication and database hosting), OpenAI (processes AI chat messages to generate responses — don't share anything in chat you wouldn't want sent to a third-party AI provider), Stripe (payment processing), Sentry (error monitoring — may capture technical details like request paths and error messages if something breaks, not your data itself), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy policy as our service provider.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, set by our authentication provider. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
How we use your data
To operate your account and the features you use (listings, alerts, AI chat, exports), process billing, respond if you contact us, and monitor for and fix errors. We don't use your data to train AI models, and we don't sell your data to anyone.
Data sharing
We share data only with the service providers listed above, to the extent needed for them to provide their service to us, and if legally required to (e.g. a valid court order). We don't sell or rent personal data to third parties.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel or ask us to delete your account, we'll delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain billing records for tax/legal purposes.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you're in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), those rights apply to the extent required by law.
Children's privacy
AuctionIntel is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date on this page.
